Sprinkler Winterization

Sprinkler Winterization (Sprinkler Blowout) should be done before the first freeze date for your area. Logan, Utah's average first freeze is September 25th. We begin Sprinkler Winterization on Sept 15th. Booking now will save you money and reduce the risk of costly repairs in the spring.

Many of the folks offering blowouts around the valley are not sprinkler technicians. Usually, they are handymen renting a 185 CFM air compressor. If you were to do a little research, you would discover that this volume can and will blow your sprinkler system apart. When high pressure and a high volume of hot air is blown through your backflow and valves you run the risk of having costly repairs in the spring.

The majority of issues we fix in the spring are due to improper Sprinkler Winterization. Stuck valves, missing heads, missing nozzles and cracked backflows are the most common "blowout" related problem.

Every winter we repair stop and wastes that were not winterized Our Spring calendar is overwhelmed with backflow and valve issues due to improper Sprinkler Winterization.

We strongly advise calling a professional (Sprinkler Repair Guy) to make sure your system is blown out before November.
